Where you're starting from
Every project is different, so how we work depends on where you are when we meet. Most jobs begin in one of three places.
Starting from scratch
A new website, app or game, with little or nothing built yet. We help work out what it should be, then design and build it properly from the ground up.
Inherited a half-built product
A previous agency left you with something unfinished, and you have lost faith in it. We work out what is worth keeping and what to remake, reset what is realistic, and get it shipped.
A team that needs steadying
An in-house team with technical or people problems — often already running a live system. We come in to lead, fix the process and deliver, without taking the service down.
Selected work
A few sites we have designed and built. See the full set on the examples page.
Stylesheet.css
A standards-compliant CSS framework — semantic HTML, minimal classes, no JavaScript.
stylesheet.orgGPU Guide
A practical reference comparing GPU prices, cloud hosting and programming.
gpu.orgpolygonals
A graphics & music collective — generative visuals set to original music.

What does Frontend Development do?
We are a front-end development studio. We design and build the things your users actually touch — websites, web and mobile applications, and games — plus the standardised backend behind the builds that need one. We also take over projects that have stalled, and lead teams that have.
Can you take over a project someone else started?
Yes — it is one of the main things we do. If a previous agency left you with something half-built, or your own team has stalled, we start with a triage: what is here, what is worth keeping, what to remake, and what is realistic. More under rescue.
Which frameworks do you build in?
Whatever fits the job — React, Vue, Svelte, Angular, Solid, or no framework at all when plain semantic HTML and our stylesheet will be faster and cheaper to run. See the frameworks we work in.
Do we own what you build?
Yes. We hand over plain, well-structured files with no lock-in — clear enough that another developer could pick them up tomorrow. Ongoing support is available if you want it, but you are never tied to us.
How do we get started?
Tell us about the project — a brief, a rough idea, or a domain you would like to build on. We will come back with next steps, usually a short scope or triage. Get in touch.
